Id hair style miss world

With a world-wide audience in the billions tuning in to watch, the pressure is on to ensure that the Miss World contestants don't have a hair out of place.

This year, that challenge fell to a team of international ID hair stylists from around the globe, headed up by Andrew Shaun Minarik and ID hair UK creative Director Kala Kilshaw-Laing. 

The team, which also featured World Champion stylist Steve Smart, created an array of glamorous looks including sophisticated curls and Grecian-style updos all reminiscent of Hollywood's golden era. 

 "It was an excellent weekend, very hectic for everyone behind the scenes but I am proud of the way all our stylists worked to the deadlines and worked effectively together," explains Kala.

The event, which was won by Ivian Sarcos Colmenares from Venezuela, also featured performances from dance group Diversity and reunited boy band Blue.
