Francesco group student named national student barber of the year

Francesco Group’s Level 3 full-time student, Adrian Haywood, has won the British Barbers’ Association National Student Barber of the Year competition. The National Student Barber of the Year competition gives learners the chance to develop their skill further throughout the competition process and also, stand out above the rest and show their talents off to their peers. Adrian had to supply photographic submission with two headshots showing precision, creative cutting and finishing. The finals included an awards ceremony and presentation, with Adrian taking home a certificate of merit, a trophy and a good bag of products as well as an added prize of £500 for coming first in his category. Francesco Group’s director of hairdressing, Anya Dellicompagni, commented, “We are so proud of Adrian. To win the British Barbers’ Association National Student Barber of the Year competition is an incredible achievement, showing his incredible passion and talent for barbering.”
