Zen hair's new digital website & app combination is a big hit Following the very successful introduction of the Zen Hair App last year, Zen has just updated their website to not only keep pace with the volume of orders, but to enhance both the online and App experience for clients. Johnny Yip, Zen’s MD said, “ When we launched the App it was linked via Good Barber Reseller, which was great last year, but we wanted more autonomy. So in order to do this, we needed to upgrade the website.” He added: “Following extensive research and studying reviews, we discovered that a Wix website was deemed the best option for us, so we upgraded the old Wordpress site to Wix and haven’t looked back since.” Since transferring to their Wix website , Zen is now able to host their App directly linked to their website which gives clients and Zen staff so many extra benefits. These include to name a few:

  • Instant client messaging service for more efficient customer service
  • Back in stock instant messaging to waiting clients
Johnny said: “Not only has this upgrade enhanced the App’s efficiency but we have also now got a really nice looking website that was starting to look a bit dated. Our new website is faster, cleaner and really reflects the Zen Luxury brand in a much better way.”

Digital Marketing Campaign

Since launching the Zen Hair App, it now accounts for 70%+ of Zen’s daily orders. Therefore to increase the awareness and use of the App and the new website, Zen have embarked on a 6 month digital marketing campaign using the many campaign types available through Google. In just 4 weeks the campaigns have generated 250K impressions resulting in 20K+ website clicks and App engagements.

24/7 Accessibility

Available on both Apple and Android, the Zen Hair App gives hairdressers and clients 24/7 easy ordering access to all Zen Hair products, not just when Zen’s customer service team is on hand. This is perfect for busy hairdressers who can order before or after work, on the train or at weekends if they want to. Once a trade account is opened, Zen clients get 20% off all products plus get regular other offers and seasonal discounts when they are available. Also cleverly, the Zen Hair App remembers client order history plus they can tag client names against products so that speeds up the ordering process even further.

Payments & Deliveries

Payments are simple too and can be made using Stripe, Paypal and Apple Pay all through secure APIs.
