Stil to launch new flagship colour specialist salon in chelsea

Since launching in London’s Notting Hill in 2016, STIL has fast become synonymous with effortlessly cool, chic and wearable hair. Six years on and STIL is poised to open the doors to a second salon and brand new flagship in May 2022.
Located in Chelsea’s Brompton Cross, one of London’s most elegant neighbourhoods, STIL takes over a former luxury retail space on Fulham Road surrounded by high end interior design and fashion brands, art galleries, spas, restaurants and bars. Influenced by her Scandinavian roots, STIL Founder and award-winning colourist, Christel Barron-Hough has teamed up with esteemed London-based Danish architect, Max Broby to bring her vision to life.
The 1,800sqft, two-storey salon will house 15 generously spaced-out hair stations and with an emphasis on colour specialist services. A clean white space combined with custom-made lighting will flatter guests, whilst allowing colour to pop and be read in its most accurate form. Drawing inspiration from Scandinavian design, the bright airy interiors complement light oak flooring, indoor greenery and bespoke crittall features, all hallmark traits of a Scandi aesthetic.
STIL’s affiliation with nature is reflected in the salon’s centrepiece, a sage green marbled mixing bar where clients can watch colour magic being performed, whilst marbled designs behind the backwash are inspired by the colours of the northern lights and flowing water. Rooted in expertise and informed by fashion, STIL is the ultimate destination for fresh and contemporary high calibre hair with a personal approach. Whether you know exactly what you want or not at all, Christel and her industry leading team of experts have a knack for giving you the hair you’ve always wanted. A dab hand with a tint brush, Christel knows everything there is to know about colour and under her training and guidance, you can be sure to be happy with your new hue, whoever you see or whatever you choose.
