Stephanie Pratt Heads to Robert Kirby for Her Hollywood Blonde Hue

by akesha / last updated July 18, 2019

With The Hills: New Beginnings airing this month and Stephanie Pratt taking over our screens once more, the star decided it was time to have her colour spruced up at her favourite London salon Robert Kirby.

Salon owner Robert used Id Hair to brighten up Stephanie’s blonde and he gave us the step by steps and products he used to achieve the final look…

To create Stephanie’s look I use IdHAIR Hair Paint Free Range (10.8 12% 8.7 3%), which is perfect for achieving the best, clean blonde that looks incredibly healthy with a glass like shine. The Hair Paint Free range is also PPD, Resorcinol and Ammonia free, so it’s not as harmful to the hair.

For the front panels of the hair, I use IdHAIR Bleach Me Gently 3% toned with IdHAIR Gloss Toner in shade Crème 9NAG. Bleach Me Gently is an Ammonia free bleach, so it does not swell the hair and is perfect for all of the latest freehand colouring techniques.

The bleach lightens the hair up to 6 shades, perfect for ensuring Stephanie’s hair goes as light as possible, but it also retains the strength and the shine of the hair. The Crème Gloss Toner is then used to tone the hair and give it a more natural and golden hue – think California blonde.

For the back section of the hair, I used a classic fine weave section pattern foils and for the sides and top I used a slice pattern weave, creating texture with the tones and adding lighter sections around the hairline to frame the face.

The IdHAIR Niophlex No.1 Bonder was mixed into all colour during each process, ensuring the hair was protected from chemical damage and adding strength to the structure of the hair.

Before blow-drying and styling, I used Niophlex No.2 Enhancer and No.3 Maintainer to provide the hair with added moisture and to treat the hair and give it added shine. Stephanie loves the Niophlex range and uses the Niophlex Shampoo and Conditioner at home between appointments to keep her blonde looking its best and as healthy as possible.
