The show saw the Westminster Class of 2022 showcasing their collections alongside the London Fashion Week men’s calendar with the students paying a particular focus on sustainability and working with upcycled materials. On hand to style the models for the event was the RUSH hair team for L’Oreal Professionnel. Headed up by RUSH creative team member, Sophie Chandler, the team consisted of  team members: Michael Rackett, Jessica Hau, Kirsty Judge, Tina Mehmi, Robert Niemczyk, and Scott Johnson. All stylists came together to work their hair magic on the models for the show, which featured 18 girls and 12 boys. RUSH Westminster fashion show In preparation for the event, the RUSH team were provided with a hairdressing brief. Look one with a codachrome/retro feel featuring a very slick, low pony with side parting. Look two a sepia/natural theme with hair styled into loose waves with texture and volume and look three, a black and white theme, with hair having height resembling that of a beehive for a 1960’s inspired updo look. Commenting on the event, Sophie Chandler, leading RUSH creative team member on the shoot said: “It was a really fantastic day styling the hair for the models at Westminster Fashion Show for L’Oreal Professionnel. The team all did amazing, creating some beautiful hair looks, which ranged from sleek, polished, glass like finishes to voluminous, soft and textured. It was so much fun to create a diverse range of looks and see these come together perfectly with the collections that the graduates had created.” Don't forget, you can view more hair looks from the RUSH team and Sophie Chandler in HJ's gallery.
