Kao group provides emergency aid to the ukraine emergency

The Kao Group has numerous group companies in Europe. Joining the global call for support in this humanitarian crisis, Kao Corporation made a donation of €500,000 to UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency for humanitarian assistance, to those affected in Ukraine and surrounding areas.
Kao Group's mission of, "As one, we create a Kirei life for all—providing care and enrichment for the life of all people and the planet,” is at the centre of everything we do. Our hearts and minds are with all those who are suffering as a result of this conflict.
The company also plans to donate Kao products such as disposable baby diapers, sanitary products, and hand soap through Japanese industrial associations and other organizations to help people in Ukraine and in evacuation centres.
Kao Group companies have also made company donations to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), and, in addition, is matching employee donations to provide humanitarian aid.
“With regard to our business, we will suspend export sales to Russia and advertising activities in Russia. We will continue to sell products that can maintain a minimum hygienic life for children and women only. We will continue to monitor and assess the situation,” as said on the Kao website.
