Josh wood announced as redken's global colour creative director

Redken 5th Avenue NYC has announced colour maestro Josh Wood as its new global colour creative director.

In his new role, Josh will serve as a spokesperson for Redken hair colour, participate in Redken’s award-winning education initiatives and events, provide artistic direction on photoshoots, and offer his product development vision. He’ll also create inspiring hair colour looks for Redken’s models and muses, which will be showcased on the brand’s social media channels.

Considered one of the most influential and respected hair colourist in the world, Josh has been at the forefront of the hair and beauty industries for more than 30 years. His work has been featured in high-profile titles including British, US and Japanese Vogue, W Magazine, Elle and Grazia, and he collaborates with top fashion houses including Louis Vuitton, Jean Paul Gaultier, Versace, and Marc Jacobs.

“I'm honoured to be working with Redken and be the brand's global colour creative director,” said Josh. “Colour is my passion and I've always wanted to push the boundaries on the way we think about colour. I'm excited to bring a new vision to Redken and I can't wait to be part of the Redken tribe.”
