Jo Robertson, former global head of education for ghd, has announced the launch of her own hair agency.

The agency’s info and all it has to offer lives at Its services include coaching and development programs, seminars while the site also features a blog where Jo speaks about matters concerning today’s hairdresser.

Reacting to the upsurge in self-employment in the hair and beauty industry Jo has developed a new service for freelance stylists. The subscription-based agency will help freelance stylists to obtain education bookings through the site as well as 1:1 coaching with Jo, helping the educators with building education material, identifying their dream client and branding themselves.

On her exciting new venture Jo says; “There is a shift in education where the culture has changed, salons and stylists are look- ing for freelance education in salon environments. At the moment it is mostly brands that are offering education, there is a desire for technique education as opposed to purely product focused education.

This site allows freelance educators to have a page and shares their skills and services to many salons and stylist that they would not normally be able to reach.”
