12 hairdressers join skp collective 2019

Schwarzkopf Professional’s SKP Collective 2019 has just announced their brand new team of digital influencers, passionate about all things social.

SKP Collective, the first of its kind in hairdressing, has a goal to support the stylist and their salon in effectively promoting their skills, business offering and the Schwarzkopf Professional brand via social media.

The initiative launched for the first time in 2018 and after thriving results, Schwarzkopf Professional has decided to create a new team for 2019/20.

The members, mentioned below, will benefit from hands-on workshops focused on hair and photography as well as opportunities to preview and sample product launches. They will have access to exclusive industry events and direct the hair styling on fashion shoots amongst others.

They will also receive training focused on social media– how to utilise it effectively, how to present yourself and your business effectively and to put all this training into practice.

Five of last year’s SKP Collective members were invited to stay on this year’s team. They are:
Dan Mewies, Mewies & Co
Irfan Sumbul, Choppy Cuts
Matt Surplice, Spring is in the Hair
Austen Thomson, Austen Thomson Hair
Alix Maher, Lynda Maher Hair Studios

The five original digital influencers will be joined by the following hairdressers for the next 12 months:
Chris Tranter, Ed & Co
Christopher Laird, Hair by Christopher Laird
Rebecca Jacques, Bad Apple
Mat Watt, Mathew Watt
Justin Mackland, Ishoka
Sam Marais, Urban Hair
