Beginning a Youtube channel in 2018, James now has over 70k subscribers and has created the Life of Hair Digital Academy – with over 300 students from all over the world. James aims to create content that is exciting, informative and educational for other members of the hair industry.
The JOICO European Colour Design Team lead seminars, shows, demonstrations and presentations around the UK and Europe.
James is looking forward to collaborating with the team in his new role and sharing ideas, “there are lots of exciting things to come and I’m really looking forward to working with JOICO to share this with hairdressers from all over the globe, I believe sharing and collaboration epitomises the future,” he explains.
James will join a number of top hairdressers in the JOICO Team, such as David Murray and Katrina Kelly. He has already worked on digital activities with fellow team member Paul Watts on his Youtube channel.
“it’s great to see James joining the JOICO family, myself and James have been friends for years and have been on a similar journey working towards becoming European artists, but with the same intentions to take hairdressing education online to the masses. We have both adopted YouTube and bring our knowledge and expertise together every Wednesday which started during Lockdown. We have now been supported by JOICO to bring this online education to a larger audience, showcasing the brand’s Education worldwide,” said fellow team member, Paul Watts.
