Great lengths launches hairdos for heroes campaign Great Lengths has launched its Hairdos for Heroes initiative, which offers free cut and blow dries to frontline workers. The brand are encouraging salons to participate in the campaign by offering free cut and blow dries to frontline workers on either Sunday 6 and Monday 7 September, to say thank you to our key workers. As part of the Hairdos for Heroes initiative, Great Lengths will list participating salons on its website, as well as supporting with event planning and kits to offer marketing support to all salons that are involved. The Matthew Curtis Group​ will be participating, as well as many more confirmed salons so far throughout the UK and Ireland. Salons can register their interest in participating by contacting Great Lengths directly on ​[email protected]​ Each participating salon will be listed on the dedicated ​Hairdos for Heroes ​web page. “​We are really excited to be launching the Hairdos for Heroes campaign,” says Joscelin McCourt, CEO for Great Lengths UK & Ireland. “We are putting all our current efforts into gaining more participating salons so we can really give back on a large scale to everyone that's working so hard at the moment to keep us and our families and friends safe.” “The hairdressing industry has been hit hard with salon closures and pauses in production and sales but most of us can't even begin to imagine the hardship our frontline staff have had to endure,” she continues. “When salons open, they're going to be busy, but during these days in September, the Hairdos for Heroes initiative will be a time to pause once more, reflect and celebrate all the people that continued to work and got us through this, stronger than ever.” Salons who are not associated with Great Lengths are also welcomed to take part in the campaign. Frontline staff will be required to contact participating salons directly for booking, and salons will receive event and marketing support from Great Lengths.
