Chris williams of rush hair has sadly passed away It is with great sadness that we report that Chris Williams from Rush Hair has sadly died after experiencing a short illness. In his role as international colour director at Rush Hair, he was recognised for changing the way of looking at colour, and he inspired and motivated so many people both at Rush and those who attended his training courses and seminars. As an educator he was selfless, sharing his skills and passion for the industry with so many. Chris was also named a finalist for the British Hairdressing Awards Schwarzkopf Professional British Colour Technician of the Year in 2020. “Chris was a larger-than-life character and was known and loved by our Rush family and the industry, not only in the UK but throughout the hairdressing world,” said Andy Phouli and Stell Andrew, joint CEO of Rush Hair. “Our thoughts go to Chris’ family, his wife Sophie, daughter Lily and Julieanne, Laura and the team at Chichester along with our Rush Family who all looked to Chris for his wise words, guidance and of course for his inspiration. The contribution he made to Rush was incredible – the awards and accolades received were richly deserved and received by Chris in a humble yet appreciative way – as Andy Heasman who travelled the world with Chris said, ‘he has the heart of a Viking and the soul of an angel’.” They added, “A shining star has left us. Chris will be missed by us all, he will always be our ‘Colour Man’, we will love you forever and will never forget you. Your legacy lives on through your work.” HJ sends our deepest condolences to Chris' family, friends and colleagues. Following on from the devastating news on Monday, some of the Rush Team have come together to help raise funds for Chris’ family, enabling them to celebrate his life and give him the colourful send-off he truly deserves.
