You can read the official british hairdressing awards 2020 programme here Ahead of the biggest evening of the year, you can check out the official British Hairdressing Awards 2020 programme here. Included in the programme is a written introduction by Jayne Lewis-Orr, executive director of Hairdressers Journal International, and Julian Crane, general manager of UK and Ireland Schwarzkopf Professional, detailing the evening and why it’s now more important than ever to celebrate hard work and togetherness in the industry. A programme of events follows, including the order in which the categories winners’ will be announced, and a coveted ‘BHAs Hall of Fame’, which spotlights previous winners which stretches back as far as 1987. From there, you can view a breakdown of every finalist shortlisted in all 18 categories and, for British Hairdresser of the Year, you can also preview a sample of each of the finalists’ collections.  You can get involved with all the latest updates and stream the whole event for free in the comfort of your own home by clicking ‘Attending’ on the official event page on Facebook On this page, you can catch up with all updates and news surrounding the event, and you can watch the whole night streamed live at 20:00 UTC on Monday 30 November to see for yourself who’s taking home the trophies (or, more accurately, having trophies sent to their homes). While you eagerly wait for the event, you can check out our new finalists collection gallery in all of its glory here. From Afro to Art Team, this year’s submissions are especially unique as they represent the hairdressers’ favourite ever work. For 2020, hairdressers were allowed to take their best shots from over the years and create an exciting, career-spanning new collection.  For an idea of who may come away victorious on the night, you can also check out all previous winners of the British Hairdressing Awards here.
