Bad Apple Hair Joins the Schwarzkopf Professional Family

by akesha / last updated April 30, 2019

Bad Apple Hair has teamed up with the Schwarzkopf Professional family of products. The salon group is owned and led by Gavin Mills and started out in Birmingham in 2006. The group has now grown to eight salons across the West Midlands with two locations in Birmingham as well as salons in Walsall, Solihull, Wolverhampton, Lichfield, Stafford and Stratford-Upon-Avon.

The salon group also has a lucrative deal with Topshop, with a salon in Topshop’s Birmingham Bullring store, where they provide cut, colour and styling appointments – and will now retail Schwarzkopf Professional products.

This Topshop partnership is set to grow, with ten more Topshop and Bad Apple Hair salons set to launch including in Manchester, Liverpool and Lakeside later this year.

With this move to Schwarzkopf Professional, Bad Apple Hair will be taking a full range selection across the colour, care and styling products from Henkel Beauty Care Professional. Julian Crane, general manager, UK & Ireland Henkel Beauty Care Professional says, “Together, the Bad Apple Hair group bring aspirational imagery, beautiful client results and dynamic education to Schwarzkopf Professional and we are excited to support and grow with them over the coming months and years.”

Managing director of Bad Apple Hair Gavin Mills is equally excited. He said, “As a salon group we are continually looking at ways we can expand, evolve and drive the business forward, and this affiliation will play a key role in allowing us to facilitate this.”
