Angelo Seminara announces that he is stepping away from his role as artistic director at Davines to advance fresh professional development.

Angelo, four times winner of British Hairdresser of the Year and three times winner of the Grand Trophy AIPP Award, has influence over hair professionals, photographers, stylists and models. His work was featured in fashion runaway looks for Chanel, Valentino and Alexander McQueen.

Angelo started working with the Italian brand along side his clientele, stage and session work. He took up the position of an artistic director in 2011 and produced a number of products. Namely, the colour instrument Flamboyage in 2012 and ‘Your Hair Assistant’, a range of hair products, in 2016.

The hairstylist announced his resignation, commenting: “Sadly, all good things must come to an end and the time has come for me to concentrate on other areas of my professional life.”

He also shares his gratitude to the Davines’ founders, the Bollati family, as well as the company’s artistic teams, trainers and directors for the “unfailing cooperation.”

Angelo also mentions the clients: “My sincere appreciation also goes the thousands of clients all over the world who have loyally followed us with passionate commitment.”

He adds: “I hope the contribution I’ve made to Davines’ development is of benefit as the company continues to flourish, making it a fruitful brand for everyone – salon professional, client and the planet alike.”

Lastly, he teased of thrilling projects are coming in the future, saying: “Meanwhile, I’m now ready for new challenges and excited at what’s to come!”
