Red carpet looks from 2012's new leading ladies

While old Hollywood icons like Rita Hayworth, Marilyn Monroe and Betty Grable constantly serve as inspiration and leading ladies like Marion Cotillard, Angelina Jolie and Diane Kruger constantly reinvent themselves on the red carpet, it's also important to keep one eye on the new breed of starlets shaking things up on the silverscreen.

Here are some of our favourite leading ladies that have lit up the red carpet in 2012...
