#lfwss17: wella professionals showcases couture colour at ppq ss17

Wella Professionals, official sponsors of the PPQ SS17 show, brought colour to the runway this season at London Fashion Week, showcasing contouring by Couture Colour. 

Complementing PPQ’s Spanish Fiesta inspired aesthetic, the on-trend hair hues were created by some of the industry’s most skilled and creative technicians from the Wella Professionals Colour Club – Issie Churcher from HOB Salons and Claire Chell from Francesco Group. The beautiful Couture Colour hair contouring technique was carefully crafted using Blondor FREELIGHTS and ILLUMINA COLOR.  Delicate hues of soft blondes and peach sorbet shades were applied to enhance the model’s skin tone and eye colour, carefully placed to contour and define her facial framework.

Together with Wella Professionals EIMI Styling Team, Lead Stylist Darren Ambrose from D & J Ambrose embodied the PPQ girl by creating styles that reflected the Spanish mood of the collection. Iconic 90’s Spanish festival style reigned supreme on the runway. Textured curls and waves were teased out to frame the face, whilst authentic headscarves dressed the hair in a variety of traditional techniques. Some models had a shorter style whilst some were left long and out for a chic contrast.
