#lfwss17 trend report: belstaff ss17 with revlon For the Belstaff SS17 collection, Revlon Professional Global Influencer for the UK & Ireland, John Vial created two beautiful hair looks to reflect both the main and Liv Tyler new season collections. 20160918-revlon-lfw-liv-tyler831 Liv Tyler x Belstaff In her second capsule collection for Belstaff, Liv Tyler captures the heady days of the English Countryside in the 1960’s start of the 70’s and the rock’n’roll characters who embodied it. The shapes & silhouettes reference the free-spirited women that were an important part of the scene, Marianne Faithfull, Anita Pallenberg & Patti Boyd. Liv Tyler says “I wanted to tap into the spirit of those women at that time, combing it with my love of Belstaff’s military archive pieces, yet done my way.” Hair was blown out with a round brush with the ends dragged out to create straight rather than round ends, for a young, fresh finish. Liv’s models had grown out fringes with an English Rose elegance to their country girl hair. The finish was clean with natural shine. John Vial Says, “She is free-spirited hippy, dippy, trippy  - effortless but with a dash of polish.” Key Products: Revlon Orofluido Shine Mousse - £12.50 Revlon Style Masters Shine Spray Glamourama - £10.60 20160918-revlon-lfw-liv-tyler575 Belstaff Main Collection SS17 – Across The Wilderness  This collection celebrates the centennial anniversary of the epic 5.500 mile motorcycle journey undertaken across American by sisters Augusta & Adeline Van Buren who campaigned for women to serve in the US armed forces as messengers and dispatch riders. Hair was sectioned and sprayed with dry shampoo, then dampened with water spray and blown out. Fringes were added, and cut to look grown out. Hair was then treated with Salt spray to create a lived in dry texture. Global Influencer Revlon Professional UK & Ireland John Vial says, “We wanted dusty hair that had a really arid, dry finish to it, these are biker girls who slept on their hair, got up and kept riding. We really wanted to capture that travelled in texture.” Key Products: Revlon D:Fi Beach Spray £14.50 Revlon D:Fi Dry Shampoo £ 14.50
