Helping male clients embrace their inner silver fox Helping Male Clients Embrace Their Inner Silver Fox As grey hair for girls continue to grow as a fashion trend, it's perhaps no surprise that style-conscious gents are also embracing their inner silver fox. And when gents style icon David Beckham allows his greys to shine through - as captured on Instagram by doting wife Victoria, who captioned the shot 'Silver Fox' - you know the trend's going nowhere. While guys might not quite be ready to go grey early in the name of fashion, those who are already rocking the salt and pepper look are increasingly opting to keep it rather than cover it up. "Turning grey is seen as a sign of power and sophistication," explains Karen Brown from Hair by JFK in Edinburgh. "However, going grey can be a real concern for a lot of men, as their hair begins to get coarse and very dry. "It is important for men to pick the right shampoo that will work with their lighter grey tones as many regular shampoos can cause hair to turn yellow," she advises. "Avoid using 'wet look' products when styling as they will differentiate greys from the rest of the hair. Instead, stick to styling products like putty, clay or gels which gives grey hair a strong, moldable hold and texture with a matt finish." Check out some of our favourite grey-haired guys below!
