Ghd at coachella: three styles that are perfect for festival season Coachella is about two things: crazy good music (hello Beychella) and exquisite hair. Luckily ghd had the hair element covered with amazing styles from Patrick Wilson and Shelley Gregory. Here are step by steps for creating three of the hottest festival styles that were created by ghd at Coachella... ghd at Coachella rochelle humes   The Power Pony - Hair by Patrick Wilson 1. Spritz hair with water until it is 100% wet and create a deep side parting. 2. Apply ghd smooth & finish serum all over to control frizz. 3. Use the ghd oval dressing brush to pull hair back into a low ponytail and secure at the nape of the neck with hat elastic. 4. For a fuller ponytail, add some extensions if necessary. 5. Prep the ponytail with ghd curl hold spray. 6. Create a tight curl by wrapping small sections of hair around the ghd classic curl tong. 7. Backcomb to add extreme volume and texture, then spray with ghd final fix hairspray.   Luxe Waves and Bubble Braid – Hair by Shelley Gregory ghd at coachella Lissy 1. Prep hair using the ghd heat protect with UV protection to protect hair against harmful UV rays. 2. Brush hair out using the ghd paddle brush to ensure product is distributed evenly throughout the hair. 3. Create a deep side parting, using the arch of the eyebrow as the point of reference. 4. Start to create. structured, loose waves throughout the hair using the ghd pure gold styler 5. Begin by placing the styler at the root, rotate half a turn and glide away from the face on the first two sections. 6. Take next section, repeat the same movement and continue this technique, alternating the rotation, until all visible hair from the top has been curled.
TIP: By doing the visible hair and not sectioning underneath, you will add curl without losing too much of the length on this shorter hair look and make the overall feel of the look more beachy and less polished.
7. On the side with the deep parting, create a bubble braid. Start by pulling back an inch wide piece of hair tightly and securing with a clear elastic. Next, move half an inch down the ponytail and add another elastic. Move down another half inch and add another. Continue doing this until you reach the end of your ponytail and leave an additional half inch. 8. Adorn the bubble braid with gold hair clasps and finish with a spritz of final hairspray for added texture and hold. ghd at Coachella Danielle PeazerAdorned braids and ‘Chella Waves – Hair by Patrick Wilson 1. Prep hair with ghd heat protect spray with added UV to add an invisible barrier against harmful UV rays. 2. Create a deep side parting in the hair and clip away to add the adornment and embellishment later on. 3. Next, add luxe, loose waves to the hair using the ghd pure gold styler. Place the ghd gold styler at the root and rotate half a turn to start creating some movement within the hair. 4. Continue to rotate as you push down and glide the styler through to the ends. Release the hair from the styler towards the ends of the hair to achieve a modern straight end. 5. Repeat the technique throughout the back sections, always keeping the styler horizontal and with a full turn. 6. Once the hair has cooled, use the ghd detangling comb to loosen the hair waves by combing from roots to ends. Personalise your look by massaging small sections of hair between your fingers to add extra texture. 7. Tightly French braid two small braids towards the crown of the head, starting just by the ear. Untuck a small piece of hair to sit in front of the braids to personalise the look. 8. Finish by randomly placing silver hair rings throughout the braids and spritz with the ghd final fix hairspray.
