Sharon Blain’s latest tutorial is a horizontal roll which takes is inspiration from 1940s Victory roll styles, encompassing placement under the parietal ridge and occipital bone to complement the bone structure. A slipped low-placed halo of hair is then undone for a more modern and relaxed feel. This technique references and spans a multitude of eras and trends for a modern and fresh update.
