Get the look: romantic braided updo

As Seanhanna salons launch their debut braid menu, we spoke to the team to find out how to create one of our favourite looks - the romantic braided updo.   Scroll down to see how the look is created, then see it brought to life in the video below! Step 1 Prep the hair and divide into four sections. Section1 is curved like an alice band. Section 4 is also curved. Sections 2 and 3 should be divide into two equal sections. Step 2 Start a three strand scalp braid in section 1 by pulling sections from the front. This will be the detail for the look. Make sure the sections are even. Step 3 Slightly pinch and pull parts of the braid as it progresses to help create texture. Step 4 Continue the braid to the end of the hair Step 5 Backcomb the end of the braid to help secure it and create texture Step 6 Lift the braid and check the texture at the front Step 7 Start a three strand braid in section 2, using the same technique in section 1 Step 8 Braid section 4 using the same technique Step 9 Braid section 3 using the same technique Step 10 Pinch and pull braids to create texture Step 11 Pin braids in place with small pins Step 12 The finished look Fancy seeing more inspiring work by Sean Hanna?
