Get the look: braided faux mohawk Get the Look Braided Faux Mohawk Find out how to copy this braided faux mohawk, created by Patrick Wilson for Beauty Works Extensions, in our simple step-by-step! 1. Sprinkle some texture dust into the roots of the hair. This product acts like backcomb in a bottle and gives a great foundation to any hair up. 2. After you have texturized the hair, brush through thoroughly with the Beauty Works Boar Brush, which will smooth out any flyalways. 3. Add 20" Deluxe Clip-In extensions from Beauty Works to add long length to the braid. This will create a super thick braid and will help to exaggerate your mohawk. 4. Section the fringe and then back comb to desired height. Secure with a clear band and grips. Next pull small neat sections from each side of the face and twist into the centre of the head. Braid the mohak from the top of the head and work your way down the hair, securing half an inch from the ends. 5. Starting at the top of the braid pull it apart to create a dishevelled look.   Love this messy updo? There are updo ideas that you won't have even considered in the HJi Gallery.
