Bad Apple Hair have shared a statement of positivity with the tag line 'Be Kind' following a year that’s been unprecedented and challenging for everybody.
The statement encourages people to ask themselves who they truly are, make peace with past mistakes and reminds them that life can be challenging, especially in times like these, and that it’s important to look after yourself. You can read the entire statement below.
Alongside this, Bad Apple has attached footage of
Kate Riman, a model who has suffered through lockdown that wanted to express her feelings visually.
Kate decided to shave her head during lockdown, and then coloured in faces on her hair as a way of encouraging people to discuss their mental health.

Bad Apple Hair's 'Be Kind' statement:
“Loving yourself means coming back home to yourself.
In a world that sometimes convinces us we have to change or edit ourselves in order to be loved, it is so important to reintroduce ourselves to our souls again. If you are struggling with fostering self-love try asking yourself who you truly are, ask yourself how you want to feel when you go out into the world.
It is easy to look back on the things you had to do in order to survive, or the person you were in your past. Your past can make you love yourself less, because you are seeing yourself through the lens of who you used to be.
I want to remind you that life is really hard and there is no perfect way to execute our existence. It is never as black and white as we think it is. There is no guideline on how to be a human being who is dealing with the grittiness of what it means to simply live, love and make mistakes.
We have all been versions of ourselves that we wouldn’t necessarily clap for now.
We have all been the person who hurts.
This doesn’t make you a bad person.
This makes you human.
BEKIND
BEBADAPPLE.”
