Braided rockabilly quiff by suzie mcgill   If you're looking for style inspiration, take a look at this rockabilly hair by Suzie McGill at Rainbow Room International. Suzie, who's a former Scottish Hairdresser of the Year, shows you how to get the look below! Step one Section hair from ear to ear and clip away the front section. Using a Mason Pearson, brush all the hair at the back into a ponytail high on the crown. Tie with an elastic. Step two Pin hair padding above the recession area on both sides. Step three Back brush the roots of the ponytail using a Mason Pearson through both sides. Step four Separate the ponytail at the crown and, standing in front of the model, start to fishtail the ponytail into the front and side areas, taking small sections. This will allow the fishtail to dip in the middle. Step five When finishing the fishtail at the front, tuck the remaining hair under the front area to create a quiff. Then using the Mason Pearson brush, smooth the sides to create a really cool rockabilly roll. [Photograph by John Rawson]
