Nothing says party like a full head of glossy curls - just like this gorgeous look by Ken Picton. Ken, who is in HJ's British Hairdressing Hall of Fame for winning Welsh Hairdresser of the Year three times, created this stunning look for the awards. Oozing with shine and vitality, it's disco hair with an update - perfect for any Christmas party. Check out how to create Ken's curls in the step by step below! Step one To achieve this look, use a medium-barreled tong. Take inch-sized sections of hair and wrap each section around the tong. Step two Continue all the way around the head, wrapping the tong in the same direction each time. As you work on the hair at the hairline, make sure you tong the hair away from the face. Step three The most important thing is when you're parting the hair to ensure it's super natural. Do this by mimicking a massaging of the scalp to mess up the hair, then separate into the part when you're happy with the balance. Step four Once all of the sections have been left to cool, spritz with L'Oreal Mythic Oil and softly run your fingers through the curls to separate and create shine.
