Mark Leeson for Revlon Professional Visionaries programme

Revlon Professional has recently opened entries for Visionaries 2022, a brand new mentoring  opportunity for young, creative stylists. Four successful candidates will be given a year-long mentorship programme on the Revlon Professional Visionaries team, directed by Revlon’s multi-award winning global ambassador, Mark Leeson.

There are no age restrictions for applicants, but to be considered you must be:

  • A hairdresser and colourist with 5 years of qualified
  • A member of Always Connect

For entries, Revlon’s panel of judges must see a before/after of a “fashion forward image showcasing an on-trend haircut enhanced by beautiful colour.”

Applications are to be received by March 13, from which 12 finalists will be chosen. The final will take place at the Revlon Professional Academy in Leeds on April 6. During this event, shortlisted candidates will be asked to recreate both the colour and hairstyle of their model in front of a panel of industry judges, and then the four successful finalists will be announced as the Visionaires 2022.

Mark Leeson comments: “Being a member of Revlon’s Visionaries will help elevate your skill set whether it is salon, session or editorial techniques you are looking to improve. Creative skills are all very good but you also need confidence.”

He continues: “The Revlon Visionaries programme has been coordinated to include presentation skill sessions, photographic shoots, and PR/social networking sessions which will help elevate you and your salons profile within the industry.”
