Alter ego appoints pete burkill creative ambassador

Alter Ego Italy has announced the appointment of renowned salon and session stylist, Pete Burkill, as its new creative ambassador for the UK. Pete brings a wealth of experience to the role, having worked as a stylist at a number of award-winning salons, including Hob Salons as creative director and part of the group’s artistic team. Pete’s career has also seen him on other respected artistic teams, including the Clynol Protégé team and the Fellowship for British Hairdressing’s FAME team. Now based at the Josh Wood Colour Salon in London’s Holland Park, Pete fronts his own session styling business, overseeing shoots for major consumer magazines and looking after a growing celebrity clientele. Pete said: “I love Alter Ego products because they deliver results. They are perfect for creating beautiful styles on clients or models without weighing the hair down. I can’t wait to represent the brand in the UK and share my love of these amazing products.” Pete will also be running advanced training courses at the Leeds Academy, getting involved with photographic shoots and providing quotes to the press on all areas of hairdressing.
