Step by step: perfect pastels with jayson gray

  Wella Professionals Colour Club Member, Jayson Gray shows us how to add the perfect pastel hue to classic blonde with Wella. Natural depth 6/0 Colour A: Koleston Perfect INNOSENSE 10/95 + Welloxon Perfect 9% Colour B: Koleston Perfect INNOSENSE 10/95 + Welloxon Perfect Pastel Colour C: 30g Koleston Perfect INNOSENSE 10/0 + 15g Koleston Perfect INNOSENSE 55/66 + Welloxon Perfect Pastel Colour D: 40g Koleston Perfect INNOSENSE 0/0 + 20g Koleston Perfect INNOSENSE 0/65 + Welloxon Perfect Pastel Step 1 From the front hairline to the crown take 4 triangle sections (curving the last bottom right triangle) leave the hair from crown to the nape out. Step 2 Starting from the crown working towards the nape take diagonal sections and apply Colour A to all the roots. On the mid-lengths and ends alternate Colours B, C & D working visually and intuitively. Place a foil in between each colour section. Step 3 Repeat this on next curved triangle section on the right and apply Colour A to the roots. On the mid-lengths and ends again alternate Colours B, C & D working visually and intuitively. Step 4 On the front right triangle section, apply Colour A to the roots and apply colour B to the mid-lengths and ends. The last few sections near the front hairline apply Colour D to the mid-lengths and ends. Step 5 Repeat steps 3 and 4 on the opposite side to complete the colour technique
