Why did you decide to bring out a range of professional extensions? Launching a professional range has always been in my business plan, but it just took a little longer then anticipated. My current ranges of clip-in extensions and hairpieces are really popular due to their quality, and with this being a salon professional range I had to make sure I found the best quality hair available - which takes time. I have visited numerous factories overseas to source the finest hair and put together original colour blends and mixes to give our customers the most natural result. I also pride myself on running a successful business without the help of any outside investment, so sometimes projects can take a little longer to get off the ground. But the satisfaction of it being a success is priceless. Are there any common complaints you’ve heard from salons and stylists about the problems they face with extensions? And, if so, how have you tackled these with your extensions? I think the biggest issue salons and stylists face is quality control. Hair extensions are raw natural fibre, so mistakes can happen, but as I mentioned above I pride myself on using only top quality materials to prevent this from happening. What will the range consist of? The range presents I-tip and U-tip pre-bonded hair made from beautiful grade 5A Indian Remy human hair. We are still finalising the colour chart but at the moment it's a great mix of single, mixed, ombre and balayage shades. Do you plan to grow the range to include anything else? The range will grow and grow to incorporate additional colours and methods, in addition to an ongoing Hair Rehab London training and support academy which is another exciting project in the pipeline for the brand. What’s your top tip for caring for extensions? I always recommend plaiting the hair if you're wearing the extensions to bed, and just taking that little extra care when washing and drying - heat defence spray is a must. What do you look for in quality extensions? It's a mixture of a quality grade of hair and a natural realistic colour blend. It's also vital to make sure the extensions are cut into your own hair so they sit like your own natural hair would. Find out more about using the range in your salon by emailing [email protected]
