Janet maitland hair excellence celebrate in house achievements.
SONY DSC Janet Maitland Hair Excellence in Durham have some exciting team news this month as they celebrate Sandra Snowdon’s 35th year at the business and Tori Taylor’s newly appointed role as Creative Director. Sandra Snowdon joined the business in 1981 and has been fundamental to the growth and success of Janet Maitland Hair Excellence. Sandra joined the dynamic team from a Youth Opportunity Programme and rapidly progressed as a hairdresser and educator. In 2000, Sandra trained as a lecturer and headed up the training side of the salon, before taking the Janet Maitland Hair Excellence training academy to top of the country through government inspection in 2001.
Owner Janet Maitland says “Sandra is the most inspiring and professional hairdresser I have had the pleasure to work alongside. She is an inspiration to hairdressers throughout the North East and is, without question, a superb representative for the salon group. Sandra is an incredible hairdresser who has devoted her life to improving the skills, knowledge and lives of hundreds of other young hairdressers.”
Another congratulations to Tori Taylor who has been promoted to Creative Director at Janet Maitland Hair Excellence and will be responsible for bringing her creative flair to the salon whilst managing and educating the team. Tori is keen to bring new trends and styles into the salon to inspire clients and stylists alike. Janet says, “As soon as I met her I knew she was a ‘hairdressers hairdresser’ and someone who really wanted to progress in her career! Tori just needed the right type of salon who would recognise and promote her talent to a wider audience. I can’t wait to see where Tori will take the business in the coming year; she’s smart, professional and has an excellent technical eye.” See all Latest News
