Spring/summer trends 2010 - updos
The catwalk reflected the trend for oversized accessories which we can probably thank Lady Gaga for.
Teen blogger Tavi was spotted sporting a supersized pink bow and a giant rose accessory to recent fashion shows.
Chanel also boasted big bows on the catwalk so expect to see updo's adorned with super-sized accessories for a kitsch take on the trend.

"Updo's- the dishevelled fat plait over the shoulder will still be very popular this summer. It's simple and chic with minimal styling required- the perfect way for clients to keep cool in the city."
Craig Chapman
"The updo trends of this season will see formed curls and backcombed stiff quiffs being replaced with low or high ponytails swept into a textured, messy knot, oozing vintage glamour."

Hot buns
"It's all about height this summer as we saw exaggerated and roughed up takes on the ballerina bun and sky-high twisted sculptures at Danielle Scutt.
"For towering high brush hair forward and decide where you want the bun to sit on the crown or middle of head, and secure into a ponytail.
"With a wide tooth comb gently backcomb lengths of the ponytail and with grips or hair accessories twist and pin lengths into a bun. Secure with hairspray for ultimate hold and control."

Messy Bun
"Worn at the back, to one-side or on top of the head, the messy bun is set to be a big hit this Spring/Summer particularly for those who want to rock the festival-chic."
