Dryby introduce curly blow-dry to the menu Blow-dry bars, such as DryBy, gained a cult fanbase when the idea travelled across the pond and revolutionised the way that customers choose their salon based on their needs. However, one group that was neglected by these bars were women and men with curls. Unless they wanted to completely straighten out their curls, the services for them were lacking from the menu. From tomorrow DryBy, the popular blow-dry bar on Mortimer Street, London, are going to remedy that. The salon has partnered with consumer curl brand Bouclème to launch DryBy Curls – a first of it’s kind. Of the new service, founder Krisztina van der Boom says, “We created a place for everyday beauty rituals for women and aim to offer the best blow-dry and nail art service in town. Whilst we developed our capsule collection of hairstyles we didn’t yet answer the needs of women who wanted to show off and care for their natural curls. Meeting Michele from Bouclème brought us the answer.” Dryby and Boucleme Founders Michele Scott-Lynch, founder of Bouclème, says of the collaboration, “For a curly girl to pop in and enjoy a styling service specifically for curls, is a dream come true. Girls with curls need not be afraid of salons any longer. The full Bouclème range will be used throughout the styling session along with tailored application advice and tips. Bouclème products will also be available to buy for aftercare. Dryby’s stylists have been fully trained in curl specific product application, styling and diffusing techniques. So whether you’ve been straightening and fancy a change or just want the luxury of having your curls done for a night out, the curly blow dry will be your trusted go-to.” DryBy Curls will be available from Tuesday 19th September 2017 at the DryBy Studio, 74 Mortimer Street, London, W1W 7RZ.
