Odile Gilbert created expensive, elegant quiffs for Jason Wu's Spring/Summer 2013 show at New York Fashion Week.

The look: Expensive, elegant "but not vulgar" slicked -back quiffs.
Get the look: Hair was prepped with Kérastase Elixir Ultime to give a smooth texture.
A deep side-parting was then created, with one side slicked back and the other woven into what Odile called an 'African braid' up the back, reducing bulk in the hair and keeping the plait close to the scalp.
A glossy wave on the opposite side added a feminine contrast to the slickness and was secured in place with hairspray for a modern, high-shine finish.
