Step by step: loose rope braid with great lengths
With the summer season in full swing we love this loose rope braid for summer weddings and festival looks. You will need
  • Paddle brush
  • Holding spray like I.C.O.N. Reformer
  • Finishing spray like I.C.O.N. Done
  • Shine spray like I.C.O.N. Airshine
  • Bobby pins
  • Clear hair band (optional)
  • Flower garland (a long strip rather than a ring)
Before Before styling, Verity's hair was washed, dried and prepped with a loose curl as a base texture Great Lengths Step by Step Step One Brush hair thoroughly. Place your garland over the head and allow it to fall at the sides - ensure that it is equal on both sides. you may wish to clip it in to the hair at the front for now.
Great Lengths Step Two Step Two Section the hair through the lengths into two equal panels. Twist the sections of hair (in alternate directions) and cross these over, integrating the garland as you work. Repeat this process until you are happy. When you reach the ends you may wish to secure the hair with a clear band. Alternatively, if your garland is wired you could twist it around the ends. Spritz with I.C.O.N. Reformer for hold.
Loose Rope Braid (1)resize Finished Look The finished look is a simple but ethereal bridal style – perfect for brides with long hair. See more Step by Steps.
