Trevor sorbie wins big at the l'oréal color trophy grand final 2018 It's one of the biggest nights of the year as the winners of the L'Oréal Color Trophy Grand Final 2018 are announced at a prestigious event at Battersea Evolution. The event kicked off with a champagne reception before guest took their seats for the main event. The first award of the evening was the L'Oréal Color Trophy Star Award, which was handed to Taylor Clayton Spicer of Paul Edmonds, London. The biggest award of the night, the L'Oréal Color Trophy Award was collected by Trevor Sorbie, Manchester for their fiery look. The theme, 21st Century Image, was interpreted by each salon in totally different ways. 'The Moving Image' by Percy & Reed's Adam Reed and Ellenora Dean showcased the extremities of the hair world including long bold woollen dreadlocks and huge synthetic afros. Ken Picton's the 'Instant Image' gave us an interpretation of hair in the Instagram generation with the fast pace of bold styles. glorious 'fros, super long weaves and TWAs all strutted down the catwalk. The final show was by Brooks & Brooks and captured the 'Editorial Image'. The looks played with pretty pastels, frayed, delicate textures and an ethereal spirit.
