Entry for step up & shine 2017 announced

Applications are officially open for Step Up and Shine 2017. Step Up & Shine is an exciting and bespoke education package worth £2,500 in the name of industry legend Christofer Mann. The ideal candidate would be an individual who has the desire and passion to learn and improve their skills through courses and workshops with ongoing support throughout. Mentor Debbie G said, “This is such an exciting initiative. Christofer was a huge supporter of grass-roots hairdressing and believed whole heartedly in the concept of education for all. Once again Step Up & Shine Scholarship is open to any stylist or assistant, of any age and any level, anywhere in the UK. No experience is necessary but the drive and enthusiasm to learn is what sums up Christofer’s ethos of supporting those ‘uncut diamonds’ of the industry”. Evangeline Barrett, from BLONDZ Hair in Weymouth, said, "Since April's Presidents Night I have been on cloud 9 as I have experienced some amazing courses and met some incredible industry experts who have taken the time to help me grow as a hairdresser. The best part is the education is tailored to me and Debbie G has been amazing in helping me choose what is right for me. I have already been on a once in a lifetime photo shoot with Marc Antoni; learnt fundamentals with Debbie G and I even got qualified in hair extensions with Michelle Griffin.
