Top hairdressers cook up a treat for habb Following on from the success of the Naked Hairdressers Calendars, comes the new Cutting Edge Cook Book in aid of the Hair & Beauty Benevolent (HABB). Such is the support for the charity that even the prospect of donning chef’s whites and creating their own recipe for the book wasn’t enough to put some of the industry’s leading hairdressers off supporting a good cause! "I think we have a duty of care to give something back to our great industry and it’s always a pleasure to support our own charity – even if it does mean cooking rather than cutting!" says Richard Ward, resident hairdresser for LK Today and Susannah and Trinny Undress. Recipes featured in the book range from the Queen of Colour, Jo Hansford’s delicious ‘Hansford Fishy Pie’, Richard Ward’s ‘Richard’s Supreme Chicken’, Andrew Barton’s ‘Barton’s Borsch’, Errol Douglas ‘Errol’s Mussels’, Phil Smith's ‘Phil’s Cheeky Breast’ and other mouth watering dishes. Cutting Edge Cooks is available for just £3 plus p+p and all the proceeds from the sales will be donated to HABB thanks to the books sponsor, Goldwell So you can have your taste buds tantalised with 13 scrummy recipes created by some of the nation's most talented hairdressers; do your bit for a good cause and all for a fraction of the price of your normal cook books! To order your book, call HABB on 01372 849 639 or visit www.habb.org
