Ghd partners with little princess trust for chop to your chin campaign

ghd has partnered with the Little Princess Trust to launch a nationwide campaign encouraging clients to Chop to Your Chin.

The ghd studio opened its doors to a specially selected group of salons to launch the campaign, with UK brand ambassador Zoë Irwin carrying out a ‘chop’ live on stage.

The launch event saw ghd’s global head of education, Jo Robertson, introduce the campaign along with a personalised message of thanks and encouragement from the Little Princess Trust.

Zoë Irwin then performed a live ‘chop’ in front of press, ghd educators and salon teams. Volunteer, Shelley, had a total of seven inches of healthy hair chopped, which was later sent to the charity to be made into a wig for a child who has lost their hair through cancer treatment or other illnesses.

Jo Robertson comments, “We’re proud and excited to be collaborating with The Little Princess Trust. With the rise in demand for wigs, the charity needs more help than ever to generate hair donations, so to run this campaign alongside our amazing ghd salons is fantastic. We had an incredibly positive response from our launch event and I know that our selected hero salons are going to fly the flag with us to help us raise awareness, spread the word and more importantly, chop lots of hair!”
