The hair and beauty charity hosts golf day fundraiser The Hair and Beauty Charity are once again organising a golf fundraising day, which will be hosted by the Dalmahoy Golf Club, in Scotland. For the fourth year running hairdressers will be swapping their brushes and straighteners for golf irons on Monday 18 May 2020, for a day at one of the most famous golf clubs, Carnoustie Golf Links. The incredible amount raised at last year’s event was just shy of £7,000, and the money raised went directly to help hairdressers, barbers and beauty professionals in their hour of need. Carnoustie Golf Links is a world-leading golf destination in Scotland. Golf has been played at the venue since the 16 century and it was Carnoustie natives who went on to establish the Professional Golfer's Associations of America and Australia.  Programme for the day:  9.00 – 10.30 am: Check in and registration, including bacon rolls and refreshments. 10.00 – 11.15 am: Performance Centre - Simulator bays (virtual reality driving bays). 10.30 am: First tee off. 3.30 pm: Re-assemble at Club House for Dinner and Awards Competitions will include best individual, best team (of 4), longest drive, and nearest pin.  Venue information Address: Links House, Links Parade, Carnoustie, Angus DD7 7JE Tel: 01241 833616 Web: www.carnoustiegolflinks.co.uk
