Chair salons is doing something pretty cool to celebrate their first anniversary

While most salons throw a well-deserved party to celebrate their first year in business Casey Coleman, owner of Chair Salons, is doing something a bit different to raise money for the charity Mind. The former British Hairdressing Awards finalist is hoping to help a cause very close to his heart by asking customers to donate £1 to a raffle in salon. For each donation your name is put into a prize draw for the chance to win a year's worth of free hair appointments at Chair Salons. "Initially, I was so excited to throw a party to celebrate our first birthday at Chair salons, but putting on a raffle for one lucky person to win a years worth of free hair in exchange for a donation toward Mind charity seemed like a much better use of my time," said Casey. "If I reach my goal of £1000, I will draw the winner of a years worth of hair services as well as make a sizeable contribution to Mind myself, that would’ve been used on a party." He continued: "Mental health is so up in the air at the moment, and even though it’s getting more acknowledgement, there is still a lot of ignorance when it comes to anything related to someone struggling.
