Timothée chalamet sets social media ablaze with latest hair colour

Everyone’s favourite heartthrob Timothée Chalamet has recently shaken up his look, taking a whole new colour palette to his renowned wavy hair. Don’t fret, though - it looks great.
The transformation has sent social media into a frenzy when film and television publication Deadline posted behind the scenes photos from upcoming film ‘Bones and All’ from director Luca Guadagnino, who has worked with Timothée before on 2017’s coming of age film, ‘Call Me By Your Name’.
What colour is the young star adopting for this impending cannibal love story, then? Bright blood red, of course! This look has been cleverly concealed over the past few months from paparazzi with caps and hoods. It’s notable that the film’s co-star has also been spotted donning a similar colour although has been far less secretive about it, snapping this shot for Vogue recently.

The grungy use of highlights seems to match the tone of the upcoming film perfectly, with Deadline describing ‘Bones and All’ as “star-crossed young lovers surviving on the margins of society, who meet and join together for a thousand-mile odyssey that takes them through the back roads, hidden passages and trap doors of Ronald Reagan’s America.”

The transformation made by the natural brunette has been a huge hit online, although it seems that Timothée can do no wrong in the eyes of social media when it comes to changing up his hairstyle.
Let’s not forget back in 2019 when the American actor took to a black-dyed bowl cut with a severe undercut for his role as Hal in David Michôd’s ‘The King’, which also received rapturous support despite straying far from his boyish brunette curls.

It’s yet to be known whether Timothée will adopt the look more permanently or if it’s just for the role, but we certainly wouldn’t mind if the colour stuck around a little longer.
