Each year we can't get enough of the celebrity halloween hair looks, and 2023 didn't disappoint. From sexy to scary, here are some of HJ's favourite celeb halloween hair moments.
Best Celebrity Halloween Hair Looks
Motsi Mabuse
Every year the Strictly Come Dancing hair and make-up team wow us with their creative looks for the professional dancers and celebrities, and of course The Judges. But every week Motsi Mabuse and her glam team turn it out and deliver beautiful looks, some of which can be likened to works of art - and the 2023 Halloween show was no different. Motsi's hair was braided into a stunning, intricate spider's web by Alisha Dobson to bring her spooky outfit to life. Revealing how she was once told to keep her hair 'under control' we're loving watching her embrace her hair, and the skills of her team light up the judging panel each week.
Adele
We’re used to seeing Adele embrace a variety of 60s-inspired hairstyles both on and off stage, so were surprised to see the singer’s warm blonde locks transformed into a rich deep brown during weekend 33 of her residency in Las Vegas. Paired with an alluring smoky eye and a jet black gown, she was the spitting image of Morticia Addams. While the wig formed an integral part of the costume, we loved seeing Adele embrace extreme length, and think it made for a real show-stopper. What a treat!
Kate Beckinsale
Kate Beckinsale looked out of this world as Barberella for Halloween 2023. Complete with platform boots and the iconic space riffle, the actress finished off the look with a big blonde blowout, courtesy of Dimitris Giannetos. We think Jane Fonda would be proud!
Mariah Carey
She may be the Queen of Christmas, but this year Mariah Carey defrosted a little early – just in time to serve up an epic Halloween transformation. The starlet donned a glossy copper wig, complete with cascading Hollywood curls and a deep side parting, to play the part of Jessica Rabbit. While we know it's a look that will be short-lived, we loved seeing Mariah embrace this trending shade, and think she should consider committing long term; after all, red is the colour of Christmas...
