Michelle pfeiffer's style: your view A-list actress Michelle Pfeiffer always looks the part on screen – but how does her off-screen style measure up? WI-cut-mpfieffer.jpgSome Stylists’ Opinions “Michelle is a renowned Hollywood blonde and her colour has moved with the times. She has opted for softer, warmer and more caramel hues that flatter her skin tone and age. She has done well to steer clear of brash or platinum blondes that can have an ageing and draining effect. This is an elegant colour that retains youth with sun-kissed strands of golden blonde, giving a sense of depth. Older women should also avoid block colour, as this is too harsh. What works well for Michelle are the highlights at the ends, which give added texture.” Sacha New, Wickham Hair Studio, Croydon “Michelle has chosen a clever and flexible natural-looking haircut that can be glammed up with curls, or ‘beached-up’ with wax. The versatility of this cut lies in the long layers, which create movement and add softness to the look. A much prettier look is achieved using Michelle’s natural wave and adding extra curls, and the ends of the hair have been chopped into, so the waves gradually disappear. This cut is very flattering as it is at a length where it looks long but not too long, which could be ageing on Michelle. I would probably take the length and the layers a little shorter to give it more bounce at the top.” Sharon Peake, Ethos Hairdressing, Manchester Now have your say Do you agree with our stylists' opinions? Perhaps you'd like to see what lies beneath those long, blonde locks. Maybe you think her image is dated and it's time Michelle gets up close and personal with a whole new style or perhaps you think it is the ideal stardust look. Tell us what you think...
