Fashion designers may have an eye for fabric but it seems to go awry when it comes to their hair if this week's celebrity hair-o-meter is anything to go by.
And just to show expose how badly wrong the designers get it they've got a whole host of actresses -with not-a-hair-out-of-place locks - in the front row at their shows.
| High standards... |
Eva Mendes
Effortless chic! Who needs hours in the stylist chair when you can just pull together a simple ponytail worn low on the nape? Stunning Eva Mendes manages to give the simplest updo a touch of glamour, perfect for the red carpet.
Michelle Collins
She may have played more than her fair share of villains in the past, but Michelle is no rogue when it comes to perfecting the on trend updo. The full side fringe with height through the crown has a real 60s vibe.
Justine Mattera
It's great to see celebrities embracing their curls every now and then, and actress Justine's bouncy curls offer volume without the frizz ball look - a welcome change from all the long waves we've been seeing for months.
Miranda Richardson
We have mentioned before that effortless glamour looks great but maybe actress Miranda has taken it a step too far with this updo which looks a bit too dishevelled and messy for our liking.
Vivienne Westwood
We have come to expect this from the queen of fashion, Vivienne Westwood, but we have no idea how the designer of such iconic clothes she justifies her unbrushed vibrant mane.
Miuccia Prada
Italian fashion designer Miuccia Prada should know a bit about taking care of tresses and new trends but this flat, limp, volumeless look is certainly in need of some TLC.
...Loose expectations |
