How to work with a brand - robert eaton x hot tools Working with brands is a big part of establishing yourself as an authoritative voice in hairdressing – in this series we talk to stylists that have formed a partnership with huge brands, how they did it and why it works... Robert Eaton was chosen by Hot Tools when the brand needed a stylist to work with for their Curl Bar launch. They were looking for someone to do the hairstyling for a shoot for the Hot Tools CurlBar and it was perfect timing for me. I loved the CurlBar and the brand and it went from there. Networking and communication is key to becoming a brand ambassador. It’s all about building relationships with brands and using your connections. There’s no set rules to follow, it’s all about working hard, being committed, showing your passions and selecting a brand that aligns with how others perceive you and you perceive yourself.
