Just cuts salons open new locations across uk [UPDATE:] Following Australian salon group Just Cuts opening two new salons in Sunderland and Middlesborough, a new location has been recently opened in Blackburn, taking them to a total of nine locations. As of August 19, the new location will be operated by a team of stylists and managed by the UK support office, with the salon being available for "someone to take the reins". “Our Sunderland and Middlesbrough salons were open for just one month when both locations were bought by new owners - whoever takes over this new Blackburn salon will become our seventh UK salon owner,” explained David Mathie, Just Cuts UK general manager. “We’re extremely proud of the fact that we’ve been able to maintain our UK expansion during the pandemic." “We’re very conscious of the fact that Blackburn has just come out the other side of a localised lockdown so are very much prioritising the health and wellbeing of our stylists and clients,” said Chelsea Arnell, Senior Stylist at the salon. “We’ve implemented new policies, like only accepting card payments and fully sterilising stations between each use. We’re also encouraging all of our clients to download and use our app to check in for a time slot, minimising the need to wait in the salon too." Further locations Just Cuts have displayed interest in expanding into in the future include Southampton, Milton Keynes and Northampton.   These new salons are part of the brand's growth strategy. This recent initiative helps prospective salon owners get into sought-after retail spaces. The new north east locations and others set to open before the end of the year are available for salon owners to invest in. Those who do will be supported by Just Cuts' systems. Their Franchise model is very accessible and open to all. David Mathie, General Manager for Just Cuts salons in the UK explained this. "One of the best things about owning a Just Cuts salon is that you don't have to come from a hairdressing or beauty background. As long as you are willing to invest time and passion into the business, anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit can make a success of a Just Cuts salon."

This year, Just Cuts is celebrating their 30th year in global franchising.

Their work has been a continued success, leaving them in high demand. Their salons in Romford and Leeds, the first two launched as part of this initiative have already been taken over. He continued; "We're proudly the largest hairdressing brand in the Southern Hemisphere. We've achieved that accolade by constantly revisiting our franchise package, offering business owners opportunities with longevity and scope for growth. Considering the economic climate faced by all business owners post-lockdown this is more crucial than ever before." They aim to continue supporting salon owners throughout 2020. For the rest of the year they will be securing more prime locations. They aim to focus on town centres and shopping centres where footfall is high, in the hopes of adding to their international network of salon owners from varied backgrounds.
