Habia appoints rob young as new managing director

A former senior executive at Tiscali and officer in the British Army, Rob's new role will see him leading Habia forward into new areas - specifically learning, training and business and professional development - as well as driving their digital push.

Speaking of his appointment, Rob said: "I'm delighted to be appointed as the MD of Habia. I know that as an organisation we have tremendous opportunities over the next few years to really influence and change the way people learn across our sector, not just in the education world, and I will be working closely with the excellent and well established team at Habia to bring even more success to the organisation and the hair and beauty industries as a whole."

Habia has big plans for 2013, including updated national occupational standards to ensure that qualifications reflect changes in legislation as well as brand new standards for popular new treatments.
