What is the last date to get my entry to you?

· All entries for this year need to be received by Hairdressers Journal International by 5pm on Friday 19 June 2020.

Can I enter online?

· No. You can download the entry pack online, but all entries need to be posted to Lizzi Diggins, British Hairdressing Awards, M Squared Media, Allington House, 25 High Street, Wimbledon, SW19 5DX.

I forgot to fill out my entry form, will my entry still be valid?

· No – you will need to complete the entry form found at the back of the entry pack and send it in alongside your entry.

Are photocopied entry forms admissible?

· Yes, they are. If you are entering multiple entries, you can photocopy the entry form as many times as you need.

Do I need to submit any other forms?

· If you are entering Artistic Team of the Year or Schwarzkopf Professional British Colour Technician of the Year you will need to complete an additional questionnaire. Please email [email protected] for the specific questionnaires.

What is new this year?

· CRIB SHEET – Please provide a crib sheet with your pictures in the order you would like them displayed. Please note, if this is not provided the organisers will display them at their discretion. For the first round they are displayed 1-4 vertically, with the first picture being at the top and the fourth at the bottom. Please print this and enclose it with your entry.

· VIDEO – For all categories make sure to send a video of your shoot – this needs to be a 360 degree video of each model before any work has been done and on completion of the final look. This can be done on a mobile phone. Please send it via WeTransfer to [email protected]

· PAPER WEIGHT – Final images must be printed on a minimum paper weight of 300gsm.

· DIGITAL IMAGES – The digital versions of the images are also required with your first round entry. Please ensure these are sent via WeTransfer in high resolution and low resolution to [email protected]. Ensure your name, salon and category accompany the email and that file name is your first name and surname. For example: lizzidiggins.jpeg

· ENTRY FORM – Model/s name/s + Instagram handle/s are required on the entry form

How many copies of my entry do I need to submit?

· You only need to submit one copy of your entry.

In what format do the entries need to be supplied?

· Your final printed photos need to be 10” x 8” (portrait) including any borders.

How many photographs do I need to submit?

· You need to submit one before photo of each model taken on the day of the shoot, prior to any hair work. There is no set size for these photos but should be no larger than 10” x 8”. You also need to submit an after shot of each image before any post-production/retouching.

Do I have to pay to enter?

· No, there is no charge to enter the awards. The only cost involved is if you wish to attend the awards ceremony.

I have won the same Award three times – can I enter the same category again?
